What Are the Blackout Dates and Booking Deadlines?
Booking window: Refer to your winner’s certificate for your experience’s validity terms. You typically have 12 months from the event date to book your trip and 24 months to travel.
Blackout dates: Some experiences have blackout periods when the property is not available. Common blackout dates include Easter week, Thanksgiving, and December 15 through January 15. Specific blackout dates are listed on your winner’s certificate.
Booking flexibility:
- Most properties offer weekly stays (e.g., Saturday to Saturday), but many also allow flexible check-in/check-out days. Ask your Guest Services specialist about availability.
- If your preferred dates fall within a blackout period, upgrades to travel during blackout dates may be available for an additional fee.
- If a life event impacts your ability to travel within the booking window (e.g., pregnancy, medical issue), contact your Guest Services specialist.
