How Does LuxGive Work?

LuxGive helps nonprofit organizations raise more money at fundraising events by providing luxury travel experiences on a consignment basis. Here’s how it works:

Browse and select experiences. Choose from over 200 curated luxury travel packages — private villas, five-star resorts, VIP events, and more — to feature at your auction, raffle, or gala.
No upfront cost. There is zero financial commitment to get started. You do not pay anything to feature our experiences at your event.
Auction or raffle at your event. Present the experience(s) to your donors as auction items or raffle prizes using the free marketing materials we provide.
You only pay for what sells. After your event, you only purchase the experiences that were successfully sold. If an experience doesn’t sell, you owe nothing.
Keep 100% of the profit. Every dollar raised above the nonprofit price goes directly to your organization. Example: if the nonprofit price is $1,000 and the winning bid is $3,000, your organization keeps $2,000.
We take care of the winners. Once you provide us with the winning bidder’s contact information, our Guest Services team reaches out directly to plan and book their trip.

What is a Discovery Call and How do I Schedule One?

A Discovery Call is a short introductory conversation (approximately 15 minutes) with one of our Fundraising Consultants. During the call, your consultant will:

Learn about your organization, event format, and fundraising goals
Recommend specific travel experiences from our portfolio that suit your audience
Walk you through the nonprofit pricing and consignment process
Grant you access to the LuxGive website portal, where you can view all experiences and pricing

Can I Use LuxGive Experiences for a Raffle?

Yes. LuxGive experiences can be used for both auctions and raffles. The consignment model works the same way — you only pay for the experience if it sells.

For raffles, we recommend including a provision in your raffle rules stating that if the minimum number of tickets is not sold, the raffle will convert to a 50/50 split format (where half the pot goes to the donor and half to your organization). This allows us to maintain the risk-free consignment model for raffle items.

How Do I Add Experiences to My Event?

Once you have portal access, you can indicate the experiences you’re interested in for your event:

Log in to the LuxGive portal at luxgive.com/sign-in.
Browse experiences from our catalog.
Click the Heart icon on any experience you’re considering. This adds it to your favorites list and alerts your Fundraising Consultant.
Your consultant follows up. Favoriting an experience is not a commitment — it’s a way to “save” the experiences you’re considering. Your dedicated Fundraising Consultant will follow up to finalize your selections.
A proposal is made. You can view your personalized proposal in the LuxGive portal to accept or decline your final lineup.

Question 6

I Won a Trip — What Happens Next?

Congratulations on winning a LuxGive experience! Here’s what to expect:

The nonprofit closes out the event. After the fundraising event ends, the nonprofit organization is responsible for submitting your name and contact information to LuxGive. This can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks after the event.
You receive a Welcome Email. Once we receive your details, LuxGive sends you a Welcome Email containing your Winner’s Certificate and a unique redemption code. This email comes from a @luxgive.com address. Be sure to check your spam folders.
A Guest Services specialist is assigned to you. Complete your redemption form and a Guest Services Specialist will reach out to help book your experience.
You book and travel. Work with your specialist to choose dates and finalize your trip details. Refer to your winner’s certificate for your booking and travel periods.
